We are packing to go skiing and hoping we get to ski. Last week the weather was cold and the skies were gray. We were dreaming of snow and slopes. This week the skies are blue and the weather is warm and we are praying for snow. I guess next year when we plan our skiing trip it will be further north or out west.

The house

I have been busy trying to re-do some things in the house. We have never lived in a house this long before and it seems things start to look dingy after a while. I spent last week in the kitchen repainting the walls and ceiling. Which I might add I will never paint a ceiling again. Horrible job. Jay replaced the baseboards and I purchased a new table and rug. The kitchen is almost finished. I am trying to decide what I want to put on the walls if anything. As I have grown older I am enjoying the less is more saying. It is much easier to maintain.

In the spirt of less is more. I have spent this week cleaning out the clutter in the basement. I have a ton of stuff for consignement, good will and trash.

Starting Over

Some how I lost my password for google and can't log into my old blog. I have been trying for months on and off and nothing is working. I have contacted google and received no response so I am officically starting over. I am going to try to keep up with the blog since I have thrown the towel in on scrapbooking. I just can't keep up with three kids, all there activities, the house, myself, and scrapbooking. I am going to start printing the blog pages and putting them in albums for the kids.
